The purposes we use information on the users of HAE for

We collect information on the users of HAE so that we can notify them of new offers, products and services from HAE that might be of interest to them to help us improve our services and all performance furnished for you by the HAE websites and customise them to your personal needs. Beyond this, we have to process personal information to operate our bookkeeping and invoicing systems.

Log files

Each time a site is accessed access data is collected in a log file, the so-called server log. The datasets stored in this manner contain the following information:

• your IP address (which enables your computer to be identified),
• the remote host (name and IP address of the computer that requests a specific site),
• the time, the status, the transferred data volume and the internet site from which you accessed the requested site (so-called referrer), as well as 
• information on the browser used in the respective version (user agent).

HAE uses the standardised "combined" log file format of the Apache web server for this purpose.

This log data is used in anonymised form for statistical purposes. The allocation to your person is consequently not possible.

HAE can therefore identify at which times the HAE website offer is most frequently accessed and what data volume has been generated on the HAE website.

The log files also serve to improve the offer on the HAE websites, as possible errors and faults on the website may be identified and localised more easily.

The page views stored in the server log are not associated with individual users.

In as much as these data protection terms become obsolete or if loopholes emerge as the result of new services or new applications on HAE websites, HAE is entitled to undertake amendments to the data protection terms at any time. HAE will inform you of any amendments to these data protection terms via e-mail at the e-mail address submitted by you in the scope of registration.
